Tuesday, December 9. 2003: Back to BEAM Night, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The annual BEAM Open House, featuring student exhibitions and presentations.  Prospective BEAM students and families encouraged to attend! The BEAM Booster Club will greet visitors to the BEAM wing on the 3rd floor of NMB SHS, sell refreshments and BEAM logo items.

December 4 and 5, 2003 - BEAM Field Trip to watch satellite broadcast of the annual Howard Hughes Holiday Lectures at Miami-Dade College. All grade levels eligible.  Prerequisite attendance at four after-school lectures.  See Dr. Rothstein for more information.

5:45 - 9:30 pm, Tuesday, October 14, 2003: Back to School Night

1:50 pm, Thursday, October 9, 2003: National Honor Society meeting.  Held in the NMBHS Media Center.

Saturday, October 11, 2003: Homecoming Dance.

Saturday-Sunday, September 13-14, 2003: Aventura Marketing Council Education Fair, Aventura Mall (mall hours: 10:00 am - 9:30 pm Saturday; 12:00 noon - 8:00 pm Sunday)

This annual event featured information booths from local education providers and schools, including North Miami Beach High School.  Our school's booth included the BEAM information display.

Volunteers staffed the booth for shifts (minimum shift was one hour).  For more information, contact NMBHS Occupational Specialist John Bequer at the school office - (305) 949-8381.
